Davao del Sur State College, through its Supreme Student Council, facilitated the celebration for Students’ Day 2026, on February 17, 2026, at the DSSC Campus grounds, as part of the College’s 7th Founding Anniversary celebration.
The activity was dedicated solely to celebrate and recognize the students and their role in the campus and the institutional development.
Various activities were conducted to highlight students’ skills and talents beyond academic field requirements. These included the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Tournament, Amazing Race, Laro ng Lahi, Matira Matibay, Booth Display Competition, MTV Spoof, Mascot Showcase, and Hugyawera Domina.
The celebration aimed to provide students with a venue to showcase their individual talents, skills, and teamwork while promoting unity across different academic fields and year levels.
The Student Day celebration formed part of the 7th Founding Anniversary week-long celebration, highlighting the importance of student participation in advancing the College’s academic and co-curricular initiatives, supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly the Quality Education (SDG 4), Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), and partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).
