Davao del Sur State College conducted a Cultural Show on February 20, 2026 at the College Gymnasium and the Virtual Library, gathering students, faculty members, guests, and community representatives for a day focused on local tradition and shared identity.

Various musical acts were presented which included cultural performances. The chosen songs combined modern and classical musical elements inviting listeners the beauty of culture and heritage.
The event later continued at the Pasibantug Hall for an exhibit, highlighting the craftsmanship of the Bagobo-Tagabawa community. The exhibit displayed traditional textiles and beadwork together with handmade products which used conventional crafting methods and native materials. It displayed products from locals which demonstrated how indigenous methods support environmentally friendly lifestyles.
The activity provided space for students to encounter heritage outside the classroom. The activity enabled academic partners from partner communities to present their research work while the partner communities displayed their research work.
The Cultural Show supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by integrating cultural learning into campus activities, and Sustainable Development Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by promoting respect for cultural heritage and local identity.
